Ashwaubenon, WI, April 18, 2019: Green Bay Voyageurs FC announced the addition of Marquette Defender Gabe Kash to the club’s inaugural roster on April 18.

At 5’6” and 145 pounds, Kash is coming off his most recent season in the Big East as a redshirt freshman. He will be joining Marquette teammate and fellow defender Leo Villa on the Voyageurs roster for the summer of 2019.

Kash is no stranger to the big stage, spending time with the United States U16 National team in 2016 and was a member of Sporting Kansas City's youth program in 2017. Kash was also named to the 2017 United Soccer coaches Youth Boys All-Midwest Regional Team at Blue Valley West High School in Marshall, Ill.

"It's an honor to be chosen to play for Green Bay Voyageurs FC. I cannot wait to be a part of something new and great.” said Kash “I hope to be a big help and that I can be an influence during games.”

Head Coach Brian Kamler is confident Kash will be a benefit to the team both on the attack and while defending.  “With his ability to go forward as well as defend, we are excited to see what Gabe is capable of defensively and how he will be a factor offensively out of the back.” noted Kamler.

The Voyageurs’ first home game, and first ever event at Capital Credit Union Park, is slated for Friday, May 31st at 7:00 against WSA Winnipeg. Season and group ticket packages are on sale now.
