Northeast Wisconsin Native Joins Voyageurs

ASHWAUBENON, Wis. May 11, 2019 - Green Bay Voyageurs FC are excited to announce the addition of Northern Illinois University midfielder Jaden Stevenson, following a solid freshman season with the Huskies.

Stevenson, a 6-foot-2 forward will begin his USL League Two career hoping to aid with the Voyageurs offensive attack. Following a strong freshman campaign with the Huskies where he appeared in 5 games and recorded 2 shots, Stevenson will return to Northeast Wisconsin, having previously starred for the Sturgeon Bay Clippers.

Stevenson’s career with the Clippers included a 2017 WIAA Division 4 State runner-up finish and a WIAA Division 4 State Championship with Sturgeon Bay as a sophomore in 2015. In addition, Stevenson’s senior season with the Clippers culminated in him scoring 39 goals, talling 24 assists and a nomination to the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association Boys All-State Team. 

“Jaden has a very high work-rate and is a player that can play multiple positions for us.” Said Head Coach Brian Kamler.

The Voyageurs open their inaugural season taking on Des Moines Menace tonight (May 11) at 7:30.The Voyageurs’ first home game, and first ever event at Capital Credit Union Park, is slated for Friday, May 31st at 7:00 against WSA Winnipeg. Season, group and single game tickets are on sale now. The team name, colors and crest are being developed with input from the public to build a team that truly represents the community. The team will play its home games at the new Capital Credit Union Park.
