ASHWAUBENON, Wis May 17, 2019. Green Bay Voyageurs FC has announced the addition of Gonzaga forward Demitrious Kigeya to the team’s inaugural roster.
Kigeya will pose an attacking threat for the Voyageurs in their inaugural 2019 season. The 5-7 Madison, Wis native had a breakout season for Gonzaga netting four goals in 17 appearances. For his efforts was named to the WCC All-Freshman team.
Prior to his time at Gonzaga, Kigeya attended Shattuck-St. Mary’s, where he earned year-end honors. At Gonzaga University, Kigeya plans to enter the mental health field, majoring in psychology. Uniquely, Demitrius Kigeya is the only person in the world with that name.
“Demetrius is a player that is a dynamic player going forward and we hope he is able to link our team together through his skill and pace.” Said Head Coach Brian Kamler about the teams newest addition.
