Green Bay Voyageurs Announce New Assistant General Manager

With the completion of the Voyageurs inaugural season in the books the team has announced the hiring of Michael Richmond who has spent the past four seasons in Madison with the Madison Mallards, as the new Assistant General Manager.

Richmond began his Mallards tenure in 2016 as an Inside Sales Ticket Representative. While working for the Mallards Richmond worked with a wide variety of groups and season ticket holders.  He also managed Usher and Fan Zone employees and helped in the Human Resource Department alongside Liz Kern.

Richmond began his career interning with the Green Bay Blizzards as a Gameday Intern in 2013. He received a degree in Communications from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay in 2013.  After graduating he spent a year with the Beloit Snappers working in Ticket Operations.

 “I’m excited to be back in Green Bay and to have an opportunity to continue work with Big Top Sports and Entertainment.” Richmond said. “I want to take the next steps to lead this organization to grow both on the field and in the community, I am looking forward to working with Voyageur fans in 2020.”
