Green Bay Voyageurs Announce First Exhibition Match of 2019 Season
Ashwaubenon, WI, Tuesday, February, 12, 2019: On the heels of its team identity announcement this past Saturday, Green Bay Voyageurs FC have announced an exhibition match against USL League One’s Forward Madison FC. The match will be played at Capital Credit Union Park on Wednesday, June 5th at 7:30pm.
“This match against Forward Madison will give our players an opportunity to play against a professional team and prove that they can hold their own. Ever since we announced that a team was coming to Green Bay, we had our sights set on a match against Forward Madison. We’re ecstatic that we’ll be hosting them this season,” said Voyageurs General Manager Dannon Anderson.
The two teams have garnered attention both nationally and internationally with their name and logo announcements. They’ll look to match that energy on the field, providing a competitive, fast paced match for fans of both teams.
The Voyageurs’ first home game at Capital Credit Union Park is slated for Friday, May 31st at 7:00 against WSA Winnipeg. Season and group ticket packages are on sale now.
