Brian has had a long and successful career within professional soccer. A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Kamler played collegiately for Creighton University where he was a 1993, First Team All American. He was later inducted into Creighton’s Athletic Hall of Fame. Beginning his professional career in the USISL with the St. Louis Knights and the Richmond Kickers where he would become league and U.S Open Cup champions in 1995. After the creation of the MLS in 1996, Kamler was drafted to D.C United. During his time in D.C, he would win the first two MLS Cups Over the course of his career. He would also play for the Miami Fusion, MetroStars, New England Revolution, and Real Salt Lake. Kamler ended his career in 2005, with 12 goals and 27 assists. Kamler a recipient of the MLS Humanitarian of the Year award, winning the award in 2005 for his work with Kam’s Causes. Following his playing career, he would work within the Real Salt Lake Academy. He would later move to the Green Bay area where he resides with his wife and kids.
